Team USA's hopes of reaching a second Davis Cup semi final in three years this April rest on the shoulders of John Isner, Sam Querrey and the Bryan brothers – all four of who were selected this week to face Serbia.
The quartet, captained by Jim Courier, will train together over the next week ahead of their quarter-final showdown with Novak Djokovic and co. in Boise, Idaho with plenty of chances of tennis betting fans to get in on the action.
The tie will be tough and despite Djokovic's world number one status Team USA have enough in their arsenal to progress to the final four. Djokovic himself is in a poor run of form after crashing out of the Miami Masters quarters to Tommy Haas in straight sets.
While Djokovic reels from his Miami exit, Querrey has a great chance of scalping the Australian Open champion. Ranked 20th in the ATP, the Californian has impressed in the early stages of 2013 and has made two tour semi finals. He will get underneath Djokovic's skin and fans should back him to take one set at least.
Isner, meanwhile, has had a tougher time of it after falling in the Miami Masters third round this week but still could provide an upset against Serbia's second singles player Viktor Troicki.
With the Bryan brothers a safe bet of beating whichever Serbian pair shows up Team USA need just two wins from four singles rubbers and both Querrey and Isner have the ability to see off Troicki.
Beating Djokovic, therefore, may not be necessary but fans in the betting world can expect both Americans to give it their all in front of a loud Boise crowd.
