First of our 2013 US Open tennis picks comes from the match between Frenchman Kenny De Schepper and Bradley Klahn from the United States. The 26-year-old Frenchman Kenny De Schepper is a player whose main weapon is his big serve and so he is often compared to Ivo Karlovic. It is true that De Schepper's baseline game is rather limited and he is often overplayed by his opponents once a long baseline rally starts but the fact is that his big serve and attacking style keep most of the rallies short. De Schepper, who is currently on a career-high ranking of Nr. 69, has been rather disappointing lately, loosing his last five matches without winning a single set. So his form could surely be much better than this. His opponent will be the 23-year-old American Bradley Klahn, who is also on his career-best ranking at the moment, being ranked as world Nr. 124 right now. The left-hander played four years at Stanford University, where he won 2010 NCAA singles title and later earned economics degree. Klahn already has some experience with playing the US Open main draw as he defeated Jurgen Melzer in five sets before loosing to Richard Gasquet last year. Bradley Klahn made some really impressive results this summer winning an ATP Challenger Tour event in Aptos and adding finals in Winnetka and Binghamton. He is also an offensive player, so the match will be dominated by serves and full of short points and rather close. Then the opportunity to be on Kenny De Schepper with a +4 games handicap looks like a really nice tennis betting option and surely worth a tennis bet.
